Our mission

Our mission is to support grassroots efforts and address community needs through programming, collaboration, capacity building, and inclusive engagement.

Our vision

The vision of the Colorado People's Center is to become a community and movement hub that channels the abilities and energies of community members into direct involvement to act within our own communities. We believe in building the capacity of working-class and oppressed people to organize for a better Colorado, as they see it.

Volunteer-powered

The Colorado People’s Center is a volunteer-run organization founded and operated by a team of community organizers who recognize the need for spaces for collaboration, education, organization, and empowerment.

We started this center with a faith in our community—that by creating more possibilities for everyday people to learn, contribute, and collaborate, we can change the horizon of what’s possible.
