The Colorado People’s Center is thrilled to host muralist Leo Tanguma for an exhibition and residency.
The son of migrant farmworkers and a longtime Chicano activist, Leo’s work has always been connected to the lives and struggles of working people in the United States. His work centers on the struggles of the oppressed for dignity, justice, self-determination, and human rights. Come see works by Leo Tanguma spanning decades, and view his latest piece as it is actively painted, “Democracy Versus Fascism.”

Rental Assistance Clinic
Colorado Emergency Rental Assistance Monthly Application Workshop
The Colorado Division of Housing (DOH) has emergency rental assistance funding for Coloradans who have fallen behind on their rent, meet income limits and other qualifying factors, and are at risk of eviction or displacement.
Every month the Colorado People’s Center hosts a workshop with volunteer assistance for renters seeking to apply for Colorado Emergency Rental Assistance (CERA). The clinic is held the second Monday of each month, when the CERA application portal opens.
